topdoer.ai Phone supports English and Spanish as call language choices. A compatible AI client can pass the requested language with the destination and goal. You still decide who to contact, what information may be shared, and whether the agent can confirm an outcome. Language support makes a familiar phone channel easier to use without changing those boundaries.
Start with a clear request
State the language at the start of your brief. Include proper names, reference numbers, and the spelling of details that matter. If the recipient normally uses a different language, describe what the agent should do: ask whether Spanish is available, continue only if communication is clear, or bring the request back to you. Do not assume a business has bilingual staff.
Keep the goal precise in either language. Ask about a service, confirm an appointment, or clarify a delivery update. When a name, address, date, or amount is important, tell the agent to repeat it and ask for confirmation. If the conversation becomes ambiguous, the useful result may be a clear explanation of what still needs your attention.
Connect the client you use
In an MCP request, choose language en or es as documented. With a client that accepts natural language, tell it which language to use before you approve place_call. If you use the API, validate the language field in your application and show it in the human approval step.
Review the result
Read the final summary and check concrete details. Names and numbers deserve a second look because their meaning can change with context or formatting. The workspace keeps the call information together so you can review what was said. A bilingual call remains a communication task, and important decisions should be checked by the person responsible for them.
Keep the boundaries clear
This feature does not promise live translation for every language or situation. Use the supported language setting and discuss other requirements with our team. Plan limits and destination coverage apply in the same way to English and Spanish calls. Do not use the service as a substitute for a qualified interpreter in sensitive or critical situations.
Set up the connection in three steps
- Choose your AI in the Phone setup dialog. Check that the client supports the remote connection and that your workspace permits it.
- Connect the MCP endpoint with supported authentication. Use a read-only request first, then review a specific call or message before approving it.
- Review the plan at checkout. Choosing a client does not charge you, and a connection does not activate an unconfigured number or subscription.
Read the plan before you start
The first month is $9, then $19 per month, or $190 a year with two months free. Fair use applies: 200 call minutes and 300 text segments a month, one call at a time, 30 calls a day, and up to 15 minutes per call, to US, Puerto Rico and Canada numbers. Over the cap, add a $10 top-up (about 60 minutes) or wait for the next cycle. See the full fair-use list.
Keep a record of what you approved and what actually happened. If a request fails, read the error and check its state before trying again. Review the billing terms shown by Stripe, including renewal and taxes. Your workspace Billing page opens the supported customer portal for subscription changes. You can also contact our team when a plan or client requirement needs clarification.
